VISOR alpha v0.11

A tool for end user data exploration

About

Visor is a Linked Data browser which enables end-user exploration and data querying. It is configurable for any SPARQL endpoint. This demonstrator version shows Visor using the DBPedia dataset, which contains data extracted from Wikipedia.

Getting Started

Things in Visor are organized around items. Similar to articles in Wikipedia, items are things in the dataset are for example "London", "Elizabeth Taylor", "BMW" etc. Items are organized in collections, for example, People, Places, Automobiles, Events etc. Visor allows you to select several collections, inspect their items, see the relationships between them. Once you build up your domain of interest you can create a spreadsheet and export it in a format suitable for you. For a quick overview check out this video introduction.
